SYNOPSIS
A feature film for ABC, released theatrically in 1982. Based on stories
by Grace Paley and written by John Sayles, the film stars Ellen Barkin and
David Strathairn. Part 1 of three loosely-connected dramas about women
living in New York City, and their relationships with husbands, suitors,
children, and parents. Selected for London and Toronto film festivals.
