DOGS: THE EARLY YEARS

A
one-hour film about puppies for the PBS series NATURE, the program
presents an incisive, yet practical perspective on the breeding,
behavior, and training of young dogs. The episode not only
includes pointers on how to select a puppy by studying its evolutionary
ancestry, but also demonstrates the keys to developing a satisfying
puppy-owner relationship. DOGS: THE EARLY YEARS also illustrates
the story of one young pup who is brought home to live with a puppy
"socializer," in order to prepare him for his life as a guide dog. Narrated by John Ritter.

...both
educational and interesting… If I had to describe this documentary in
just a couple of words, it would be ‘simply wonderful’… I highly
recommend this fine piece of work to all of you.
